Racing for HOPE: Chris Hope Foundation’s Final Race for HOPE 5K & 10K
The eighth and final annual CHF Race for HOPE 5K and 10K, presented by Teamsters Local 667, made a return to the heart of Downtown Memphis on October 28, 2023, marking a celebration of community and support for families of children battling chronic, life-threatening illnesses. Amid the vibrant atmosphere of Beale Street, participants and volunteers donned Halloween costumes and festive outfits, highlighting a profound commitment to the Chris Hope Foundation mission in a display of camaraderie and perseverance.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation in both the 5K and 10K races, with volunteers distributing medals to mark the triumphs of every finisher. In recognition of participants’ achievements, gifts and prizes were awarded to race winners across various categories, honoring the collective commitment to support families in need. Following the races, post-event festivities continued at Handy Park for a joyous celebration.
