Kid of the Month – Tamenica
Meet Tamenica Our Kid of the Month for June!
Tamenica has been receiving treatment from the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Cardiac Care Unit for nearly two months. She enjoys socializing around the unit, and you can always find her spending time with staff members or other patients. She has made so many friends during her admission!
Tamenica’s favorite things to do here are attending Child Life events and going outside. She loved getting to go shopping with her nurse and child life specialist to pick out her gifts and later getting to play with them all in her room!
Each month, a child life specialist at Le Bonheur picks out a child for us. We’re truly blessed to have so many special fighters in our lives.
