May 24, 2022 celebrated the ribbon cutting of phase one of Le Bonheur Green, an interactive outdoor space for children and families at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. The $3 million project, which began in the fall of 2019, was 100% funded by donations, including one from us!
The Chris Hope Foundation is incredibly proud to have pledged $25,000 to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital to help bring this project to life. Our donation to the space provided us with naming rights to one of the sitting areas provided by the garden. With this contribution, CHF will forever be able to provide comfort, solace and hope to those who need it most.
“We are extremely passionate about supporting families coping with the stress and struggles of children battling a chronic or life-threatening illness,” said CHF Founder and Chief Imagination Officer Chris Hope. “Our hope is that this garden allows parents, children and loved ones to gather together, revitalize, and recharge their own hope throughout difficult circumstances.”
“As an active supporter of the Le Bonheur Bereavement Program, the garden is another way we are offering support and guidance to parents and families in such truly overwhelming moments,” said Hope.
