The sixth annual CHF Race for HOPE 5K and 10K was the perfect bookend to Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which lasted all of September.

On Saturday, October 2 runners of all strengths and ages joined us in Downtown Memphis to follow a beautiful (although damp) course weaving through some of Memphis’ most recognizable streets. Despite the rain, our supporters and childhood cancer advocates showed up and showed out in support of the Chris Hope Foundation mission. We were grateful to see plenty of CHF friends in the crowd. Of course the Promobile made an appearance, and we had the opportunity to meet some new faces, too!

The funds raised from this – and all CHF events – go toward alleviating the financial and emotional burdens families face when their child is in treatment or hospice care for life-threatening diagnoses.

We want to give a special thank you to our sponsors who made this event possible! Their generous contributions allowed us to honor children suffering from childhood cancer and other serious illnesses. The Chris Hope Foundation would like to thank UPS, Teamsters Local 667, Parker Prints, Memphis Spine & Sport, RAE Creative, Wolfchase Nissan, Wolfchase Honda, and Signs First.
